How to connect email to amoCRM

Mail in CRM is needed not for show, but so that letters do not fall out of the transaction. Connecting email is useful where approvals, commercial proposals, contracts and client responses are made via email, and not just through calls and instant messengers.

Step 1

Prepare your workbox

  • Use corporate email, not the manager’s personal Gmail.
  • Determine whether one box will be shared or by manager.
  • Check who should see the correspondence in CRM.

Step 2

Connect the mail channel

  • Connect the mailbox to CRM and check that the letters are actually associated with the contact or deal.
  • Set rules for how to create new leads from incoming requests.
  • Check your outgoing correspondence so that the history remains in the card.

Step 3

Gather control

  • Check how the system reacts to unread emails and lack of response.
  • Add tasks and reminders for important approvals.
  • Make sure that letters do not remain “live” only in the email client.
